Chelsea Usher is a California native that has been living in Hartford, Connecticut since 2012. A teacher by day, writer by night, Chelsea likes to write short fiction, and is currently working on the Herculean task of her first novel, Unlocking the Universes, a fantasy novel about a girl whose biggest worry used to be her pre-calc final before she realized she was destined to bring piece to the universes.
When she isn’t writing, she’s either teaching, or being taught. She teaches full time at a Hartford Public School as an English teacher, and an adjunct professor at Goodwin College. Most recently, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern New Hampshire University with a Masters in English & Creative Writing. She also graduated Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University with a Masters in Teacher Leadership and Cum Laude from University of California, Riverside with a Bachelors in English and Classical Studies.
Outside of writing, Chelsea loves coffee (Starbucks, for those that need to know) and traveling the world to learn about new cultures.
Like many millennials, she’s a social media addict, and can be found on twitter & instagram.
